Finnish electronic alt-pop artist Conchis has returned with her fantastic new single, ‘Trouble’. Her sound is defined by its experimentation, with haunting synths and non-standard percussion supporting her twisting voice in the track’s early moments. When we reach its climax, the sonic universe she has crafted is bathed in warmth and reverb, with her voice almost drowned into the distance. “In the past, I’ve had a tendency to pick men who aren’t necessarily healthy for me,” she says. “'Trouble' is a reflection of that topic and how I’m still drawn to certain types of men despite knowing better.
